Children are special at Living Faith! Nursery is available during worship for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Children ages four through elementary grades are invited to exit to the Children’s Chapel midway through the service for Worship and Wonder. Activity bags and materials are available in the back of the sanctuary for use during the service, if desired.

Christmas Box Packing Party – Today! at 5pm
Join us as we pack our collected gifts into Christmas boxes for families throughout Appalachia! This is a wonderful opportunity for all ages to work together and share Christ’s love with our neighbors. Come help us turn the generosity of our congregation into gifts that will bring joy this Christmas … and brink some finger foods to share!
Remembrance Sunday – November 1st
On Remembrance Sunday, we give thanks for the lives of those who have gone before us in faith. During worship, we will remember members of our congregation who have died during the past year by reading their names and lighting candles in their memory. Everyone will also have an opportunity to light a candle in remembrance of someone special they have lost. Join us for this meaningful service of remembrance, gratitude, and Christian hope.
Church-Wide Thanksgiving Meal and Annual Meeting – November 22 at 5pm
Join your Living Faith family for our annual Thanksgiving meal and congregational meeting! We’ll gather around the table to enjoy Turkey from Tony York and potluck sides, give thanks for God’s blessings, and reflect on the life and ministry of our church. Following the meal, we’ll hold our Annual Meeting as we celebrate the past year and look toward the future together. A food signup sheet will be coming soon. Everyone is encouraged to participate!
Christmas Mission Weekend in Corbin – November 21–22
Our children and youth are planning a special mission weekend at First Baptist Church Corbin, helping with their Christmas box ministry serving families throughout Appalachia! They’ll also have an opportunity to reconnect with friends they made at camp while serving together. Plans may include an overnight stay and worship on Sunday morning. We’re currently gauging interest and looking for parents willing to volunteer or chaperone. Please complete the interest form on Facebook or in Thursday’s email newsletter, even if you’re only considering attending. Completing the form does not commit you to participating!
Von Thomas’ Bible Study – Thursdays at 1pm
Von’s Bible study meets each Thursday at Living Faith. She takes an exegetical approach to various topics in Scripture. New drop-ins are welcome! This week’s topic: “Testing, Testing”
