Family Minister Job Description– Bi-vocational

Purpose

Living Faith is committed to nurturing faith as a lifelong journey that flourishes in a community of love, curiosity, and grace. We seek a family minister who will take a big-picture approach to faith formation, providing vision, leadership, and coordination across our children’s, youth, and family ministries. This person will ensure that all programs work together seamlessly to create a cohesive and spiritually enriching experience for every generation. We envision a church where children, youth, and families are embraced at every stage of their spiritual growth—where questions are welcomed, doubts are explored, and faith is deepened through authentic relationships and meaningful experiences. Our desire is for children to encounter God through wonder and play, for youth to engage in thoughtful conversations that challenge and strengthen their faith, and for families to be equipped to grow together in discipleship. Through intentional leadership, creative programming, and a commitment to inclusivity, the family minister will help shape a community that embodies Christ’s love—a place where all generations are empowered to grow, serve, and worship as a united family of faith.
