Living Faith’s partnership with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship connects our congregation to a network of churches and believers committed to following Jesus with both conviction and compassion. CBF describes its mission as serving Christians and churches as they discover and fulfill their God-given mission, and it frames that mission as both evangelism and social transformation, attending to hearts and minds, words and deeds, and the healing of individuals and communities.
CBF is also a community with real breadth. Under the leadership of Executive Coordinator Rev. Dr. Paul Baxley, CBF brings together nearly 1,400 congregations, state and regional partner organizations, hundreds of chaplains and pastoral counselors, and a wide range of theological education and ministry partners. That means our church is not trying to live the gospel alone. We are linked to others who are preaching, serving, counseling, and organizing for faithful witness in their own local contexts, while learning from one another across the whole fellowship.
Living Faith also values CBF because of its global reach and posture. Through CBF Global Missions, field personnel are supported and mobilized to share the love and compassion of Jesus Christ, cultivating beloved community and seeking transformational development among people who have been forgotten or forsaken by others. When we give to CBF, we are investing in a living network of churches and partners who keep asking, together, how to practice courageous faith, humble service, and Christ-centered hope in our time.
