Baptist Seminary of Kentucky, now known as BSK Theological Seminary, is one of Living Faith’s key ministry partners because it forms leaders for churches and communities that need wise, grounded, and hope-filled ministry. BSK’s purpose is clear: to prepare people sensing God’s leadership for life and ministry in faithful witness to Jesus Christ in the church and the world.

For many students, the door into seminary opens because BSK is built for real life. Courses are fully online and many are offered in the evenings, making it possible for bi-vocational ministers, parents, and working adults to pursue theological education without stepping away from their callings. BSK also works hard to keep education accessible through scholarships and financial aid, including strong aid support for many Master of Divinity students.

Living Faith’s support connects directly to this mission of formation. When we invest in BSK, we invest in preaching that is faithful and thoughtful, pastoral care that is emotionally and spiritually mature, and leadership that can navigate complex communities with courage and humility.

BSK’s work is also recognized broadly. The school is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools, with reaccreditation affirmed for a full ten-year term. In a moment when many institutions are tightening their vision, BSK is expanding its impact, including a recently announced $7 million grant supporting innovative collaboration in theological education. Under the leadership of President Dr. David Cassady, BSK continues to serve Kentucky and beyond with a generous, ecumenical spirit. Please pray for students, faculty, and graduates as they serve Christ.
