Embark on a creative journey through the sands of time at Desert Journey! Discovering God’s Promises. This exciting Art and Bible Camp will immerse you in the Israelites’ experience as they fled Egypt and wandered the desert. Each night, enjoy a light supper, art activities, fun recreation. We will be diving into captivating Bible lessons. Night one will explore the Israelites’ escape and miraculous crossing of the Red Sea (Exodus 14 & 15). Night two delves into the construction of the Ark of the Covenant, a symbol of God’s presence among them (Exodus 25:1-40:38). Night three we learn about Jesus being baptized in the Jordan river and how we can be near to God and discover God’s promises by following Jesus (Matthew 3: Mark 1:1-11; Luke 3:1-22). Finally, night four will be a church-wide fellowship with food and games at Freeman Lake. Through art activities and engaging discussions, you’ll discover how God’s faithfulness guided the Israelites and how His promises continue to inspire us today.
