Hope Academy for Kids is one of the clearest signs of neighbor-love in our region, and Living Faith is grateful to partner with their work. Based in Elizabethtown and serving families across Hardin, Grayson, and LaRue counties, Hope Academy for Kids exists because too many children face barriers that make it hard to thrive, including poverty, instability at home, learning struggles, and the daily weight of stress that adults do not always see. Hope Academy responds by creating a safe, consistent place where students are known by name and surrounded by caring adults who show up week after week.

Hope Academy for Kids describes its mission as nurturing and restoring hope to underserved, at-risk children through holistic support that includes educational, emotional, physical, and spiritual care. That holistic approach shows up in practical rhythms like meals, mentoring, recreation, and steady encouragement for students from elementary through high school. Their youth program, for example, focuses on leadership skills, confidence-building, communication, and preparation for life after high school, including college visits that widen students’ imagination about what is possible.

Hope Academy also recognizes that children’s stability is tied to family stability. Through its Bridge of Hope partnership model, families facing homelessness can receive longer-term support aimed at sustainable housing and resilience, strengthened by trained volunteers and case management. When Living Faith supports Hope Academy for Kids, we invest in a community of mentors and staff who help young people grow, heal, and discover purpose.
