The kids and youth had a wonderful time journeying to Paris as they explored art camp’s theme of Jesus being revealed through story, art, and play. They engaged the lessons on Jesus’ birth, baptism, the wedding at Cana, and the road to Emmaus with curiosity and joy, discovering that God comes near, Jesus is revealed, God’s glory appears, and Christ is known among us. The reflected on several classic pieces of art, enjoyed Parisian snacks, worshiped through song, and played French children’s games. It was a joy to watch them connect faith and creativity through the stories, art projects, recreation, and themed activities we shared together. They looked pretty fancy in their berets and scarves too!
